FAQ
I sell products online and I’m getting more and more customers from abroad. In order to deliver quickly, I want to keep stock there. What do I have to consider?
You will need to consider the local legal regulations. So, first of all, make sure that the lease agreement for the storage location is in order. To check this, we can quickly liaise with a locally trusted (legal) advisor. Additionally, you will need to determine whether you have to register for VAT in that country – or whether you can suffice with declaring the VAT due (there) in the Netherlands.
I am considering collaborating with my supplier abroad by acquiring a 50% stake in their company. How should I arrange this from a tax perspective?
The answer depends on the laws and regulations in the relevant country. However, what you need to pay close attention to is how the income will be taxed both there and in the Netherlands. Beware: tax rules vary everywhere. You should also carefully assess whether you're getting a good deal. To get these answers, you can make good use of our international network.
My heart starts racing, when a client calls with a question about international tax advice and I can solve it quickly.
